dc.description.abstractExploring primary gene pools, wide species segregating lines and elite lines from different niches and locations were collected and screened for various attributes. Based of which 134 progenies from Cajanus platycarpus and Cajanus acutifolius derivatives, 32 African germplasm lines,119 elite germplasm lines from gene bank and 64 elite lines collected from various locations and crosses were made.en_US
