dc.description.abstractDietary diversity (DD) was found to be significantly affected by households’ ethnicity, demography, garden ownership, poultry keeping, and project support. The study also revealed that respondent diversified the consumption of different food groups and that the extent depends on the period of food availability. The dietary diversity score increases moving from food shortage period to the most favorable period of food availability (Figure 1). During the favorable period of food availability, most of the respondents (43%) highly diversified their dietary.en_US
