dc.description.abstract | Since 1991, Central Asian countries have undergone phases of economic transition as they consolidated their independence. Governments have implemented fundamental adjustments and privatization schemes in the agricultural sector. Large state-owned farms, also known as 'Agricultural Cooperatives' have been transformed and fragmented into small private ownership. | en_US |
