dc.description.abstractThe demand for sweetpotato vine silage as a livestock feed and a source of income for youth has increased tremendously due to the different methods we have used to disseminate the technology including posting information on WhatsApp farming groups. Many farmers have appreciated sweetpotato vine silage as the cheapest source of feed for pigs given the fluctuation in the cost of maize bran which many farmers depend on to feed their pigs. Currently, the cost of maize bran is Ushs 1,200 per kgmen_US
