Abstract

Key elements of TT sustainability - It is not so important to have TTOs with many human resources but to have resources with the necessary key skills and abilities; - Valuable product ideas need market; - Lack of critical mass in research funding must be addressed; - Wide disparities in terms of performances and developing practices suggest the opportunity of strengthening coordination (at EU and national level are developed some instruments) - TT networks among universities and other research centers (public and private) enhances sustainability - Trans-national partnership based on clear, mutual goals can grow - People don’t born entrepreneurs: being entrepreneurs requires skills, learning capacities and persistence (never ending)
