dc.description.abstract | The improved postrainy sorghum materials developed at ICRISAT were organized in to four major trials - elite B-lines trial, elite R-lines trial, elite varieties trial and elite hybrids trial We discuss herewith the results from partnership research efforts by ICRISAT, Center for Rabi Sorghum (CRS-IIMR) - Solapur, Mahatma Phuke Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) – Rahuri, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV) – Parbhani, Sorghum Improvement Project, Main Agricultural Research Station, University of Agricultural Sciences – Dharwad, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Bijapur (under UAS-Dharwad) and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) on the dual purpose postrainy sorghum hybrids, varieties and hybrid parents development and their assessment for grain and stover yield and quality. | en_US |
