ورﺷﺔ ﻋﻤﻞ ﺣﻮل ﺗﺤﺴﯿﻦ اﻟﻤﺮاﻋﻲ ﺑﻄﺮﻳﻘﺔ اﻟﺤﻤـــــــــﺎﻳﺔ واﻟﺘﺮﺗﯿﺢ واﻟﺘﺼﺮف اﻟﺮﺷﯿﺪ ﻓﻲ ظﻞ اﻟﺘﻐﯿﺮات اﻟﻤﻨﺎﺧﯿﺔ

Abstract

Within the collaboration program between The International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) and Office de l'elevage et des pâturages, a workshop on the importance of having flexibility of allowing the rangelands livestock keepers to utilize the protected grazing plots if the climatic conditions were good enough to have good biomass production. Demonstrated heavy grazing for a short duration will force animals to graze without selection this will allows desirable species to recover. The approach have great potential to promote livestock productivity while sustaining natural resource base and increase adoption by development agencies and national programs where they would be considered for large scale rangeland rehabilitation.
