Total 50 National nursery, 20 AVT lines were screened for their resistance to wilt in wilt sick plot at ICRISAT and 80 lines for dry root rot using paper towel technique. Per cent wilt incidence was recorded at seedling, flowering and maturity stage, while dry root rot severity was scored on a 1-9 rating scale on the 8th day after inoculation.en_US
