Communicating effectively the model and modeling results of complex social-ecological systems such as agricultural and livelihood systems is not an easy task. This visual-aided manual introduces a standard protocol to describe MAS model, which is an usual requirement in publications of MAS studies. It also suggest ways to present complexity-related properties that is often dealt by MAS modeling, such as: measuring uncertainties, detecting signals of phase shifts or tipping points, treating counter-intuitive patterns and causalities. Examples of real-world MAS studies were used for illustrating these discussing points.en_US
