Abstract
The variance components estimations in early breeding stages for this deliverable are available on basis of 3x 1000 clones, two years, two locations and two plot replications – no clones were discarded in this experimental series which is required for this type of study. We want to estimate the two breeding scenarios (traditional use of 2 years with three environment versus use of 1 year with three environments). For this we can use an own written SSA IML procedure or the program “SelectionGain” form the University of Hohnenheim. Reason for the delay of this deliverable is that we prefer to do this in cooperation with the University of Hohenheim and our partner in Hohnenheim first wants to complete and submit our manuscript for a similar study for later breeding stages – reported under 5202 delivery report RTB 2016
