dc.description.abstractThrough this study, IDIS "Viitorul", represented by the expert Viorel Chivriga, conducted a comprehensive analysis focused on the identification of investment benchmarks and the examination of the most important exports of the agro-industrial complex that would lead to increased food security and the development of modern agriculture in the Republic of Moldova. Thus, according to the study, exports of plant products, despite all internal and external shocks in the period 2000-2021, increased 13 times from 2000 to 2021, recording in 2021 the highest value - 869,860.57 thousand USD. At the same time, imports of products from the section live animals as well as products of the animal kingdom, in the period 2000-2021, increased 21 times (from 10,744.50 thousand USD in 2000 to 225,490.35 thousand USD in 2021. In 2021, imports of products of this section exceeded exports by 6 times. The author comes up with solutions and recommendations to improve some negative trends in the examined area.en_US
