| dc.description.abstract | During 1991 ICARDA continued to participate in the CGIAR’s effort to collect, evaluate, conserve, and distribute germplasm of the germplasm of its mandated crops. Over 2100 accessions were collected in West and Central Asia and North Africa and just over 5000 new accessions received from other institutions were added to the ICARDA germplasm collections. Collecting of the adapted germplasm in unexplored or under-explored regions of WINA or related environments continued to receive high priority in 1991. | en_US |
