Abstract
Investigations on nematodes of food legumes continued in the 1988/89 season. In this period efforts were made to broaden knowledge on the distribution of these nematodes in the Mediterranean basin, extend the screening of chickpea germplasm lines for Heterodera ciceri, and to exploit methods other than the use of nematicides for the control of nematodes.
