Abstract
In close collaboration with Regional Agriculture Research Institutions and partners, ICARDA is scaling out improved sheep fattening practices and technologies in Ethiopia. The aim is to enhance incomes from sheep fattening. A cost and return analysis of sheep fattening as a means of creating youth employment and ascertaining the profitability of scarce resources used by the farmers to maximize their profit was undertaken.
