The area spans over five district administrations (Menz Gera, Menz Keyagebriel, Menz Lalo, Menz Mama and Gisherabel). These five districts are located 152, 184, 146, 124, and 223 kms far from Debre Birhan town, the capital of North Shewa Zone of Amhara region. Debre Birhan is located 130 Kms North East of Addis Ababa city.
