Prior to this date separate annual reports and other ICARDA documents were the main vehicles used to report on research progress to ICARDA's collaborators. In 2001 the NRMP decided to establish a more detailed annual report that is a progress report of work completed or near completion that has achieved significant milestones and that should be shared with a wider audience. This report is the first of these progress reports for work conducted prior to 2001 and post-1995 when ICARDA published the last of its reports from the Farm Resource Management Program.
