Over the past 2 years they have witnessed a transformation to potato farming in their area. From harvesting approximately 10 tonnes per hectare to 28 tonnes per hectare, their yields have increased tremendously. These farmers have risen from earlier practices of using poor quality seed saved from earlier harvests or purchased from unregulated local markets to clean seed potato now available near them.
